TKoC Saturday Mayhem Event PDF Print E-mail

The Knights of Calypso have begun a new weekly event...

The TKoC Saturday Mayhem presented by Counsil Member,

Seth Alexander. This weeks event was extra special as it

included an Official event organized at Amethera Outback

Land Area #55. The event was set to Highest loot Wins,

using Opalos only, but their were a  few special twists....

PvP was enabled for the event allowing particpants to kill

their rivals, and Event Officials to kill cheaters with the

weapon of their choice, and the Event prize was set to go

to the 3rd place holder in the Event rather then the 1st

place holder which consisted of a full TT Breer M2a (L)

worth 39 ped!

After a grueling hour of looking over your shoulder and

Exosaur killing the event finished with Teke styles in 1st

place, Fix MistahE in 2nd place, and Thaddeuss Scotsman

in 3rd place winning the Event prize.

It was a great event and shows potential for many more

to come! A Big Thanx to all Knights that were able to attend,

and To Counsil Member Seth for his hard work and effort

organizing this great event for us!

Christmas Gift Giveaway PDF Print E-mail

Well, it's Christmas Time again on Planet Calypso, and with the

holidays comes the 2nd annual TKoC Christmas Gift Giveaway.

This year we were able to collect approximetly 50 peices of low

level armor parts to hand out to new players in need at swamp

camp. Many donations came in from members of TkoC as well as

members of the community as word quickly spread through out

Port Atlantis and Neas Place of the spontaneous new comer

event beginning in swamp camp. At first light, a line was formed

and the giveaway commenced. Each new player received a peice

of armor for Christmas courtesy of The Knights of Calypso. The

event started out slow with a short line of 10 to 20 Entropians,

wondering if it was for real or not. Slowly the line began to

grow as did the Christmas cheer being observed in the chat

window.

The Knights of Calypso would like to wish everyone

a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Knights of Calypso are proud to launch our new Recruitment

Campaign! As the Entropia community slowly settles into their

new surroundings of Version 10, TkoC begin to see activeness

within the society improve immensely!

With the loss of many knights to Version 10, TKoC has revamped

our recruitment campaign to beef up the society activeness to

the max! We have been hard at work getting the TKoC name

to buzz within the community.

First order of bussiness: Revamped Recruitment video

With a revamped Recruitment video complete we were in need of

a new EntropiaForum Recruitment thread to display it in. The

original thread being over a year old was in dire need of an update.

We also have a excellent little radio advertisement that is played

on Atlas Haven Radio created for us by AHR DJ Desire.

Lastly TKoC has just decided to fund our own ingame global screen

advertisement. It is a quick 30 second ad that plays on all the

ingame ad screens approximetly every 45 minutes.

TKoC 3 Year Anniversary PDF Print E-mail

The Knights of Calypso Celebrated our 3 year Anniversary this month

with a fun filled Friday the 13th packed with festivity's and events.

The celebration blasted off with what we know best, a good old

fashion teleport run from billy's to Camp Phoenix. We then moved on

to an adventure run through the crater north of phoenix, which ended

by the hand of high maturity Eviscerators. The party group then

headed to Port Atlantis for a photo shoot to commemorate the

society's 3 year anniversary. The party continued on late into the

night with many other events including a team versus team hogglo

hunt, TT knuckle Cage Brawl, Pvp Opalo event, treasure hunt and

even an attempted raid on the Oil Rig with 2 teams having a total of

20 Knights. It was a massacre but fun! TkoC Counsil Member

Seth Zozma Alexander organized and hosted the days events which

lasted over 6 and a half hours.

TKoC has come a long way over the past 3 years and has seen many

changes in the process. We now boast being one of the most

recognized new player freindly Society's on Planet Calypso with a

Active member count of over 130 Knights, and 3 years of faithful

service to the community.

Happy 3yr Anniversary TkoC, and Long Live The Knights of Calypso!

Improving TKoC One Recruit at a Time PDF Print E-mail

Teke Styles has been with The Knights of Calypso since

November 2008. Since that time Teke has proven to be a model

Knight and has quickly risen to the rank of Colonel, as well as being

honoured with a seat in the TKoC Counsil.

With the implementation of Version 10, many Entropians lost the

ability to log on to Entropia due to system requirement issues.

Because of this, the over all activeness of players in Entropia has

seen a great decline. The Knights of Calypso pride ourselves in

keeping our members entertained with a variety of fun events,

but due to this decline in activeness we have been force to

postpone any up and coming events.

These circumstances shed a new light on TKoC and the importance

of recruiting new players to our Society. Teke Styles  was the first

knight to step up and take charge in our declining member

activeness. He has gone beyond the call of duty spending a good

portion of his time online, feeling out new players and searching

out recruits worthy of the Knights name. Since the start of October

Teke has personally recruited a great number of new members.

The Knights of Calypso would like to honour our Colonel Teke and

his outstanding efforts in improving life with in TKoC!

Keep up the good work Teke!
