TKoC Highest Single Loot Event II PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thaddeuss
Sunday, 30 May 2010 20:45

TKoC Society event Coordinator, Seth Zozma Alexander hosted his

2nd TKoC highest Single Loot Event yesterday, along with help

from TKoC Captain Kathline Kath Kragten who assisted in

promoting the event and ticket sales.

The Event started at 20:00 MA time at Land Area 51, just west of

Atamis Paradise. With a good handful of Knights participating. The

Goal of the event was to get the highest single loot killing Merp's

with the trade terminal weapon of your choice. Their were a few

twist to the event rules tho...

The Pvp was enabled for the event and all participants were

allowed to kill each other at any time with the weapon of their

choice. This was done mostly strategically to steal a good spawn

area from one another, but some did spend the majority of the

event hunting out others to interupt their hunting time and

lower their chances of hitting the highest loot to win. This is

where the 2nd twist to the event rules comes in.

The event prizes were arranged so that the 3rd place winner

receives the main event prize while the 1st place winner receives

the smallest prize. These two small changes to the rules made for

a very exciting event with many knights taking different

approaches to win. Some hid on the outskirts shooting merps

from start to finish, while others hunted down green dots to kill.

Some Even mob trained each other to take power over a good

spawn.

In the end the event went off without a hitch and fun was

certainly had by all. The 1st place prize of a Emik S30 (L) went to

Algenon Arsenal Difranco, 2nd place prize of a Castorian Survival

Enblade-A went to Teke Styles Enshu, and the winner of the

event and 3rd place prize of a full Breer M2A (L) was

Seth Zozma Alexander. Great Job on the event!

Seth Appointed TKoC Society Event Coordinator PDF Print E-mail

The Knights of Calypso are proud to announce that Colonel

Seth Zozma Alexander has been appointed the newly created

position of Society Event Coordinator! Seth has been with

The Knights of Calypso for just over a year this month, and

rose quickly through the ranks to become one of the society's

most ambitious Counsil members to date. Over the past year

Seth has organized and hosted a variety of events, including

Opalo Team hunts, TP runs, Treasure hunts, Pvp Cage brawls,

and has even began hosting Land Area hunting and Pvp

Events. Most of the events that are organized are funded by

the TKoC society owned funds which covers event creation

costs and event prizes.

The Knights of Calypso has recently received a very large and

generous donation of 1000 ped from one of our newer

members named Arturo. This generous gift helped put into

motion the creation of the Society Event Coordinator

Position and the appointing of Colonel Seth to organize and

host a variety of society events on a monthly budget funded

from the donation, with assistance from other

Knights to help run these events such as Colonel Mini, and

Captain Kath.

Thank you Seth, for all your hardwork in making The

Knights of Calypso Society the most entertaining and

active society on Planet Calypso!

TKoC Swamp Camp Giveaway PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thaddeuss
Sunday, 25 April 2010 19:41

Today The Knights of Calypso commenced yet another giveaway

at Swamp Camp, the sweaters haven north of Port Atlantis.

Low level armor parts have been piling up in the society storage

as members donate the bits and peices they dont need. Todays

event was initiated by a large donation of Jester D1 Rifles by

one of our new recruits named Trilenium. These rifles were sold

to the trade terminal for 75 Solomate Opalo Rifles to give out

in the event. After Collecting roughly 50 armor parts from the

soc storage, we headed to Swamp camp and the Giveaway

began!

The event went relatively smoothly with little pushing and

butting and in the end we were able to hand out all of the

armor parts and more then half the solomate opalos. Leaving

the Swamp Camp yet again with the quiet buzz of happiness.

A Big thanks to all the knights that made it out to support the

giveaway and also to Trilenium for his generous donation.

Long Live The Knights of Calypso!

Jacke Promoted to TKoC Counsil PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thaddeuss
Saturday, 06 March 2010 20:52

The Knights of Calypso are proud to announce the newest

addition to TKoC's Counsil and Colonel Rank, Jacob Jacke

Sagefjord. Jacke has been with The Knights of Calypso since

February 2007, and has proven to be an outstanding knight

time and time again. Jacke was intially introduced to the

game by his older brother, who coincidently was also a

member of TKoC. He was the first member allowed to bypass

our age requirement becoming a knight at the tender age

of 13. Over the years Jacke has risen up through our ranks

only to be held back from a Colonel promotion due to his

age. This year Jacke turned 16 officially becoming of age to

be a member of The Knights of Calypso. With this the

Counsil felt it was time Jacke be given the Counsil Position

that he had earned so long ago. Jacke is now the youngest

knight to become Colonel Ranked and a Counsil Member of

The Knights of Calypso!

 Congradualtions on the promotion Jacke!

You are  a valuable asset to the

The Knights of Calypso Society!

Long Live TkoC!
